Friday TAG going strong

After 4 weeks of Friday TAG rugby, the league is looking super competitive and last Friday, 2 girls teams have rocked up to learn how to play and even ended off by playing a full game against each other.

Over 14 mixed teams have been entered into the league this year and competition is steep. The formidable UCT Cobras (who have been dominating the Koshuis/Internal League for the last 5 years) are showing some great strides but so to have last years winners (Flappy Birds) as well as some veterans from Last Year’s Smuts Hall team (the YOU) who are actually leading the log.

With 2 girls-only teams now up and running, and a few more coming this Friday, there will even be time to put a Girls league together. So, girls, if you are looking to let off some steam at the end of a week, come down to the Rugby Fields from 3-5pm and get involved. Coaching is provided and by the end of the day you will be a pro!
