Friday TAG league finishes

The Friday TAG league has come to an exciting end as the teams celebrated their last game of the league on Friday, 9 May. The biggest game of the day was the clash between first and second on the log. The undefeated team, the You and the ever-so-lethal Cobras. A nail-biting game saw the You lose 6-7 to the Cobras in an entertaining display of TAG rugby. The win, however, was not enough and the final standings saw the YOU taking 1st place – winning R4000 and free entry into the Western Province (WP) TAG league. In 2^nd place were the Cobras collecting R2500 followed by Ikhaya 1 in 3rd place winning R1000. Congratulations must also go to a 1st year team, B.Bus.Sci, that showed endless spirit throughout the league and finished 4^th, winning themselves R500.

Another big highlight was our girls team from Clarinus who managed to beat the boys of the All Blacks and showed the most improvement throughout the season. They arrived on final game day in battle regalia to take on any opposition and they always brought a great vibe.

A massive thanks must go to the guys from TAG Rugby® who were there every Friday to set up the fields, ref and coach/teach.
