Friday TAG league mid season

The Friday TAG league is in full swing at UCT and we are already mid way through. This year we have 13 teams (split across 2 pools) which are gunning it out for the coveted prize of R4000 for 1st place, R2000 for 2nd place and R1000 for 3rd. Click “read more” to see log, fixtures and results.

Some interesting team name choices this year as well as some very tightly contested affairs.

So far, the standouts have been “Prestige Worldwide” (19 points) and last year winners, “YOU” (16 points). But following them closely on 14 points each are the guys from “B.Bus.Sci” and “How I Tagged Your Mother”. Keep an eye out as well for “The Bald Eagles” and “Shikra” who aren’t falling too far behind.

Due to the fields being used for the 2 Oceans as well as the Cape Epic, we only have 2 game weeks left after the vac 10 and 17 April. Fixtures, logs and results attached below.
