UCT vs False Bay this Saturday!

UCT will host rivals False Bay on the weekend in a high profile derby clash at the Green Mile. This fixture is also known as the annual Mark Jordaan Memorial Rugby Match and has been contested between UCT and False Bay Rugby club since 1989.  A tribute not only to the late Mark Jordaan, who played for both UCT and False Bay RFC, but an opportunity for the other teams of the club to show their skill in what is an enjoyable and competitive rugby day.

As mentioned above, all the club’s teams will be in action and while bragging rights are at stake, the students are looking to move to the top of the log and cement their place to continue their good run of form and add another trophy to the 2014 season.
