Hi All – IMPORTANT NOTICE: Downers is postponed!
Sorry to do this but due to some technical/admin/lack of communication difficulties, the Downers Event is going to need to be postponed until further notice. We are super bummed about it but hope you all understand that this is out of our control.

Downers is back!

The last event was an awesome vibe – both for players and spectators. For those who don’t know, Downers is a guys/girls social touch rugby tournament on the UCT rugby fields, but with the main focus being the vibe of the supporters and general public on the side of the field and in the pub. Teams must have 2 girls in their squads, and at least 1 girl on the field at all times. Girl’s tries also count as 2!

DATE: Friday 15 February 2013
TIME: 14h30 start
PLACE: UCT Soccer Fields (lower campus)

– Drinks and food for players
– Prizes for the winners and spot prizes for all other players
– Awesome vibe in the heart of Lower Campus
